Dinner on the Hill

As a celebration of Hill-Stead's Farmers Market, and to help support land preservation, local farmers and their Connecticut Grown products, Hill-Stead invites you to enjoy a special harvest feast on September 19 – a multi-course dinner served al fresco at a long farm table with the estate's spectacular, panoramic western views as a backdrop.

Local chefs Russell Pryzbek of Russell's Creative Global Cuisine in West Hartford and Kevin Cottle of The Country Club of Farmington will create a savory dinner showcasing fresh, seasonal, and local foods provided by Hill-Stead's own Farmers Market vendors and other Connecticut farms, paired with select wines. The "Funky Cool Grooves" of Gigglejuice (www.gigglejuice.com) will further liven the occasion.

Be a part of this celebration honoring Connecticut's farms and local sustainable agriculture while enjoying, in the words of Slow Food USA, "the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment."

Tickets are $150/person and will support education and community programs at Hill-Stead, as well as helping ensure the continuation of the museum's new Farmers Market.
