Experience the Connecticut countryside in full autumn color. Hitch a ride on a horse-drawn hay wagon, build a scarecrow, craft a bird feeder from a pine cone, string dried corn into a colorful necklace. Rain or shine, Hay Day offers opportunities to express your creativity. Connecticut’s Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers enliven the day with toe-tapping traditional tunes, and food and beverages are available for purchase. While at Hill-Stead, amble the trails and meadows. A property map and trail blazes identify flora, fauna and historic landmarks. Nominal program and materials fees charged.
