Photo Sessions
Hill-Stead's grounds offer a stunning backdrop for engagement and wedding photos and family portraits. These may be scheduled By appointment only, two-hour maximum, Tuesday– Sunday from 9 am– 5:30 pm.

Fee: $150 per hour (maximum of two hours)
Refunds: If a session is cancelled due to inclement weather, call the Special Events office at 860.677.4787 ext 181 prior to your scheduled date. Hill-Stead regrets that the museum cannot issue refunds for parties who neglect to cancel in advance of their booking.
Parking: Without exception, limousines and all other vehicles with the photo session party must be parked in the Special Events Parking Lot. Parking along the driveway or elsewhere on the property is not permitted.
The following
are prohibited: Alcohol, picnics and candles.
Hill-Stead
Museum reserves the right to cancel. If Hill-Stead must cancel your booking, you will be notified at least two weeks prior to your session and receive a full refund.
