Revive your spirit with live music performed by HSO musicians! The Hartford Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce the HSO Summer Splash! Series, a series of hour-long chamber ensemble concerts to be performed in and around Hartford during July and August. Join us on August 12 at the Hill-Stead museum for a concert by the wonderful A Piacere String Quartet. Bring a picnic and your chairs or blanket, and enjoy a summer evening with the HSO! Gate opens at 6 PM.
This concert is free and open to the public, but you must register for tickets in advance of the event.
Attendees are required to wear masks unless they are in a designated seating area with household members. Seating areas are marked and are a minimum of 6 feet apart at all performances. CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) social distancing measures are required for these events. Restrooms will be available. Free parking on site. Capacity for this event is 100 people.

Actor Destini Stewart of Hartford Stage will read a selection of writings inspired by the repertoire of the A Piacere String Quartet throughout this evening’s concert.
Destini Stewart is a recent graduate of Emerson College and an alumna of the Eugene O’Neill’s National Musical Theater Institute. Some of her previous credits include Ragtime (Harlem Ensemble, Sarah u/s, Sarah’s Friend u/s), Working (Project Manager, FundRaiser, Cleaning Woman u/s), Love and Information (Actor), and Brazen (Jaya), and Milk Like Sugar (Myrna).
