Director of Marketing and Public Relations & Manager of Sunken Garden Poetry Festival
This position, which reports to the Executive Director and CEO, is responsible for implementing marketing and public relations initiatives for all Hill-Stead Museum (HSM) programs and events, including and HSM’s largest public program, the SGPF. In regard to the SGPF, the position develops, recommends (working with the Poetry Advisory Committee), and implements the schedule of poetry readings and musical performances. The position serves as liaison to the Director of Community Engagement in facilitating all educational programs and activities related to the SGPF. The position collaborates with the Director of Development on all communications with donors and members and requires the ability to work with HSM staff, Board members, and volunteers to foster a donor-centered culture of philanthropy.
